Patricia Gill: Director, Geo-Environment

“If you work hard and demonstrate you are capable, WYG’s framework allows you to take on responsibility and to progress and develop in your own individual way”

WYG is a friendly, lively place to work and we have some interesting projects that can be technically challenging and politically interesting. For instance, the project I am working on now has the main client based in the USA (although the site is in the UK), which makes for some interesting client conversations and meetings.

One of the best parts of my role is employing good staff and seeing them progress. Being able to give jobs to excellent graduates who deserve to have a job in the sector they’ve studied in feels very special.

And it’s incredibly rewarding to play a part in developing Geo-environment (and WYG as a whole) moving into new and developing sectors, generating new and interesting projects and starting to compete internationally against our engineering and environmental competitors.

If you work hard and demonstrate you are capable, WYG’s framework allows you to take on responsibility and to progress and develop in your own individual way.
